An addendum to the "Vomit Emergency" post. After banishing Ellie from Day Care on Tuesday, her teachers informed me that she couldn't come back until she was 24 hours puke free.
Um, hello? This is Eliah we're talking about, right? The child hasn't gone 24 hours without yakking since she was born. It's what she does.
Josh and I discussed it and decided that they must only be talking about abnormal levels of vomit (which, I will admit, were present on Tuesday). She stayed home Wednesday and only threw up her usual amount, so we pronounced her healthy enough for school again.
