Alert Baby

Ellie is more alert now, which is kind of nice. She spends a good chunk of the day looking around and taking the in world. This morning, for example, as I was eating breakfast and holding Ellie, she was watching Sportscenter with me, catching up on all of the major sporting news from the last 24 hours.

She also spends more time looking at me and Kate, which is very nice. I feel like we're reaching the point now that she knows who we are. It's a wonderful feeling to look in your daughter's eyes and see that recognition there. We're not sure if she recognizes Riley yet. Staye tuned.
