Dads

Let me start this post by saying that my husband is an amazing dad who almost never fits into "dad stereotypes." He's perfectly willing to do diapers. He loves the chance to spend time with Ellie, just him and her. He's been known to say things like "honey, you go back to bed. I've got her."

So, that said...

This morning, when I brought Ellie to Day Care, I was holding her and unpacking her diaper bag. Her teacher came up and noticed that one of the straps to her overalls was unhooked. "Huh," I thought, "why does that look odd?"

And then it hit me. Overall straps don't ordinarily button in the back...

...yup. Dad had put her pants on backwards. She didn't seem to mind much, but we fixed them anyways.
