Easter Baby

Ellie's first Easter was a smashing success. The key to the whole day was the fabulous Easter dress my mother made her. I dutifully dressed her this morning (at 5:30 AM) in dress, tights, hat -- the works.

She promptly spit up on it a bit as if to say "are you sure you want to dress me this early?" Her father seconded that idea and so I re-dressed her in a floral sleeper for the sunrise service and saved the pretty dress for the Easter egg hunt and main service.

Which turned out to be the right decision, given that her first diaper of the day sprung a leak, and I had to change her floral sleeper immediately upon arrival at the church.
