I'm getting a huge kick out of tracking Squishy's "food of the week." Last week was avocado, which was alright but this week...turnip. I jumped the gun a wee bit in posting it today because officially I'm not 17 weeks until tomorrow, but with something like turnips up your sleeve, who has the willpower to wait?
You'll also be interested to know that Squishy's hearing has allegedly developed quite a lot by now. So when Josh puts his mouth up against my tummy and bellows "HELLO IN THERE," our dear offspring can, in theory, hear him. And is probably terrified. Josh says any day now he's going to start strapping headphones to my belly and pumping in Audio Adrenaline and Third Day CDs in an attempt to foster a predisposition for Christian rock.

Audio Adrenaline is quite possibly the most awesome name for a band ever. And I do have to say: turnips are not so tasty to eat, but that's a cool picture example you have up. I'd take a radish over a turnip any day, but maybe not as it pertains to baby size. In that case, bigger is better!
