Explosion

At our last couple of baby doctor appointments Kate's uterus/Squishy was measuring a little on the small side. For instance, last Monday Kate was 35+ weeks along and her uterus was about 30-31 cm, which means Squishy is in the 25 percentile for size. Yesterday, however, at the 36+ weeks doctor's appointment, all of a sudden her uterus is meauring 37 cm. In one week the uterus, and Squishy, grew three centimeters (that's an inch for us Americans). Squishy exploded in there!! I'm fairly alarmed here. I thought the big-time growth spurts were supposed to come later. This kid is a machine.
