In Reaction to the 'Lumberjack' Post

Lest you think I am the only one from whom Ellie inherited odd sleeping tendencies, let me tell you the follow story:

Kate sleeps with a teddy bear, Bug. One night, as we were laying in bed I awoke to find Bug two inches from my face being held there by one Kate Snyder. As if that wasn't enough, Bug then made three kissing noises and went on about his business. And yes, Kate was very much asleep during this encounter. Needless to say, this event, and many others like it that have happened since then, has been a great source of humor over the years.

Ellie, as I was putting her to bed the other night, began to laugh, quite heartily, in her sleep. I can only attribute that to Kate's late night craziness. This might also explain all of the oinking/dinosaur noises Ellie makes in her sleep throughout the night.

Ellie is most definitely her mother's daughter.

I suspect that EJ’s maternal grandfather might possibly be genetically responsible for both of these activities. We’ll know for sure if Ellie gets out of bed and starts rummaging around looking for her keys and wallet – in her sleep.
